"We are pilgrims here. God doesn't want us to put our tent stakes into this earth's soil too deeply. If we carry our crosses after Jesus, engage in Christian ministry, and testify openly against sin, you can be sure that we will face numerous crosses. You can't stand up for the name of Jesus and not bear the cross of Jesus. If our lives are spent for the cross of Christ, our lives will encounter that cross.
May this encourage and convict you as much as it has me!
